(More customer reviews)Overall, I like this arrow saw. A friend has this one, and when it's arrow maintenance time we head to his place instead of to the pro shop. The length adjustments are fine and precise.
The foot pedal control keeps your hands free to work the arrow. The nock slot lets the shaft spin freely while keeping the cutting length correct.
My only quibbles are about the vacuum connection. Either this arrow saw or the shop-vac we were using has a non-standard connection size, so the fitting wasn't snug at all. We built up a better connection. I'm not sure which piece had the non-standard size fitting.
If you trim a small enough length from your arrow, it gets pulled into the shop-vac. If you trim a longer piece, there's a chance that it could get caught near the blade, requiring you to stop and carefully remove it.But don't let these downsides dissuade you. If you do a significant amount of arrow maintenance, this will serve you well.
