(More customer reviews)I killed my first deer with this broadhead (the 100gr version). I don't shoot a fast bow (65 pounds/29.5 inches/avg 269-270 fps with a loaded string), yet I got a complete pass thru at 45 yards. The exit hole was pretty impressive. This goes to show how shooting fixed broadheads makes up for a slow bow.
Anyhow, it is a good size for a fixed broadhead and it does plenty of damage, yet it's small enough to fly very much like field points. It is sharp enough out of the box and the blades are strong. I would certainly recommend these to any fixed broadhead shooters who want to try something new. The only drawback I can think of is the concave shape of the blades: they're harder to sharpen than straight blades. If you look pass this however, you have a good broadhead that shouldn't disappoint in the wood.
