I bought one of these and unluckily found it of acceptable quality and accurate to 1/2 lb using calibrated weights. So I bought 30 to equip a team of service engineers and started inspecting them. For a 42.5 pound calibration weight, I measured everything from 35 pounds to 45 pounds with these junkers. 75% of them are broken or so far out of calibration as to be useless. If you do choose it, buy 4 and maybe one of them will actually work.
